Parish Life
Parish life at Saints Peter & Paul involves our ministries as well as other parish-sponsored community groups who center their efforts around building community and offering support to those in need.
These groups allow parishioners to connect with one another on a social, pastoral, and spiritual level, making it a vibrant and active Parish.
Bereavement
Saints Peter & Paul Bereavement of Consolation, a part of Pastoral Care, strives to live in the image of Jesus Christ who wept with those who mourned. We believe that in our faith community, no one should grieve alone. We pray for and with each family that loses a loved one and attempt to bring comfort and consolation to all the bereaved.
Grief Support for Adults
This ministry seeks to help and comfort those who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. It is a Catholic-based grief support program open to anyone who would like to attend, regardless of their religious background. This ministry meets in six-week sessions, four times annually.
Separated & Divorced
The Catholic’s Divorce Survival Guide is a twelve part program that brings healing and hope to divorced and separated Catholics. With the help of expert counselors, theologians, and priests, author and presenter Rose Sweet guides participants from pain and loneliness to hope and healing. Practical advice meets spiritual growth through the Sacraments, the teachings of the Church (including the Theology of the Body), and wisdom from experts and others who have suffered through divorce. As divorced and separated Catholics experience this pastoral program, their lives are rejuvenated, their hope is restored and their faith in Christ and his Church is renewed.
