Saints Peter & Paul Parish – 2025 Stewardship Initiative
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21
In today’s world, it’s easy to see what matters most to us—where we spend our time, attention, and resources. As Christians, we are called to go beyond the temporary and uncertain, placing our trust not in possessions but in God. True stewardship is a life of gratitude, faith, and unconditional giving.
What Is Important to You?
The past few years have shown us how uncertain life can be. Yet, God remains faithful and present. Stewardship challenges us to:
- Trust in the Lord instead of material things
- Turn over our fear and anxiety to God
- Live with gratitude for the blessings we’ve received
No amount of money can be our Savior. When we live as stewards, we recognize that everything we have is a gift, and we are called to return a portion of it to God with thankful hearts.
What Am I Being Asked to Do?
Our parish invites every family to make a stewardship commitment that is:
Planned – A thoughtful decision, made intentionally as part of our faith and financial life.
Proportionate – Offering our “first fruits,” giving in proportion to the blessings God has entrusted to us.
Sacrificial – Giving not only from our abundance, but from our substance—trusting in God’s generosity to provide.
Prayerful – Returning to God in gratitude, nourished by the Eucharist and inspired by Christ’s sacrifice

By embracing this call, we not only strengthen our relationship with God, but also bless our parish family and community. Together, we can live a stewardship way of life that brings joy, deepens faith, and builds the Kingdom of God.
